Helle Spejder Gutt (Boy Scout) knife
If you ask a boy from Norway what his first knife was, he will most likely answer "scout knife with a red tip".
Helle can trace the oldest scout knife with a red tip back to 1947. The current design with sheaths with boy and girl scouts on them came into place in 1971. In other words, these knives have 50 years of educational expertise behind them.
The scout knives are shaped with a barrel-shaped handle that is painted red at the back so that you can find the knife easily. In front of the handle, there is a large coupler bar that protects the hand on both sides. The blade is the real knife steel 12C27 and is both sharp and pointed - one must learn to respect the knife and follow the knife rules first and last.
The boy's knife is delivered with a scabbard with an embossed motif of a boy in scout uniform, push button for secure attachment and belt suspension.
